Two-Face Rumors

Numerous movie and entertainment sites have Christopher Nolan pegged to play the role of District Attorney, Harvey Dent in the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight a sequel to the fantastic Batman Begins. Fans of the Batman mythos know that Harvey Dent is destined to become the villain known as Two-Face. Actually looking at the guy he's not a bad choice. I can't think of any films I've seen the guy in, but so far the casting for the roles in the Batman movies has been exceptional. So I ain't gonna quibble.

He's surely a better choice for Two-Face then Tommy Lee Jones. Good Lord... the whole point of Two-Face is that half of him is a good looking guy and the other half is a twisted, acid burned reflection. Mr. Jones, to be perfectly blunt, just wasn't equipped to play the role. Oh sure the acid burned side of his face was great, but the other half of his face just wasn't working.

Personally, I'm sorry that Tommy Lee Jones was selected for the role for another reason. I believe that the Two-Face role from the previous Batman film franchise belonged to my man, Billy Dee Williams. The brother played a cool DA in the first movies, why'd they dump him in favor of craggy faced Tommy Lee Jones? Never got that. Billy Dee got the shaft. At least he doesn't have that piece of crap movie on his resume... maybe Billy won in the end after all. Hmmm
